IT Security Specialist

Scope of work could include:

• Evaluating existing computer security practices

• Evaluating user access and password security

• Antivirus/endpoint protection

• Business data handling and storage practices

• Payment and customer information privacy risks

• File transfer practices for sensitive or high-value data

• Basic encryption and device security settings

• Backup and recovery recommendations

• Secure cloud file sharing setup

• Staff/business operations network, guest Wi-Fi network, etc

• Secure router/firewall configuration

• Privacy and access controls to reduce exposure to customer data

• Guidance on equipment needs (if upgrades are required)

Deliverables:

• Network plan and recommended configuration

• Implemented Wi-Fi structure (based on approved equipment and access)

• Documented network names, admin access procedures, and password practices

• etc

Ongoing Support (As Needed)

After the initial project is completed, the Contractor can provide ongoing support for:

• Troubleshooting IT and connectivity issues

• New device setup

• Additional security improvements

• Periodic check-ins and security maintenance

• New projects as the business expands
