Organizational context: Serves as an appointed Officer reporting to the President/Managing Director This

key role has fiscal, fiduciary, and legal oversight responsibilities to steer operational excellence and organizational performance

toward profitability and long-term success.

Summary:

The Director of Finance will lead and oversee all financial, legal, and risk aspects of the (U.S. and

Canada), specializing in finance and understanding business law to drive and protect the company's financial strategy and

compliance requirements. This key position has broad knowledge of all accounting, financial, tax, and business principles, and

a strategic thinker and effective leader who can make the most beneficial decisions. Minimal, if any, travel required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Define the financial strategy and provide useful financial insights and trend data to the Board of Directors reporting on

results, progress, and financial stewardship.

Translate financial vision into operational practices that support organizational strategy, including forecasting,

budgeting, tax, treasury, and cash flow management while maintaining ongoing awareness of financial position and

risk management.

Work closely with external entities, including U.S. and Canadian banks, tax and legal firms, and property investment

companies.

Properly define and safeguard Service Level Agreements for services delivered and ensure agreed-upon activities are transparent, financially accounted for, and managed.

Analyze current and future business operations and plans to determine financial effectiveness, performance, and

risks, and communicate regularly to the senior management team regarding international and local finance topics.

Manage in-house or external legal counsel to ensure that broad legal support is provided to management on a wide

range of business issues.

Oversee local administration of IT-related technologies, activities, and initiatives to ensure optimal security, continued

infrastructure improvements, and the efficient use of solutions for employee productivity and company performance.

Serves as a local supervisory resource for global Corporate IT members based in North America.

Education and/or Experience

A bachelor's in finance, economics, accounting, business, or a related major is required with 10 + years experience as director

of finance or a similar role. Master of Business Administration or master's in finance a plus. Certified public accountant (CPA)

is preferred.
