I work as a Demi Chef de Partie in a professional kitchen, supporting the culinary team in the preparation and execution of high-quality dishes while maintaining strict standards of food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and mise en place of ingredients according to the Chef's instructions.
  • Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and cook dishes within a designated section of the kitchen (station).
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met at all times.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) strictly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages when necessary.
  • Work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
  • Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
