Job Summary:

The Chef De Cuisine – Saudi Cuisine is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the Saudi kitchen operations. This role ensures the authenticity, quality, and consistency of traditional and modern Saudi dishes while delivering an exceptional dining experience. The position requires strong leadership, creativity, and deep knowledge of regional Saudi cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of authentic Saudi dishes.
  • Design and develop menus that reflect the diversity of Saudi regional cuisines (Najdi, Hijazi, Southern, Eastern).
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high performance.
  • Control food costs, manage inventory, and minimize waste.
  • Innovate and modernize traditional recipes while preserving cultural authenticity.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support team development.
Qualifications:
  • 5–10 years of culinary experience, with strong expertise in Saudi cuisine.
  • Previous experience as Chef De Cuisine or Sous Chef.
  • In-depth knowledge of traditional Saudi ingredients, spices, and cooking techniques.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.
