Position Purpose

We are looking for a Procurement Category Specialist Food to join our Procurement team. The ideal candidate will manage the day-to-day operations of assigned food categories, ensure efficient processing of purchase orders, and maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage allocated food categories effectively.

  • Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently in line with procurement policies and procedures.

  • Maintain open communication with suppliers, store managers, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.

  • Ensure full compliance with procurement guidelines and avoid unnecessary cash/card purchases.

  • Collaborate with store managers to set and monitor par levels and food stock requirements.

  • Support in executing RFQs and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

  • Assist with supplier challenges and improve procurement processes.

  • Achieve savings in line with annual KPIs and procurement strategies.

  • Complete month-end procurement duties accurately and on time.

  • Provide regular updates and highlight any concerns to the Procurement Lead Food.

Job Details:

  • Work Environment: 100% indoors

  • Working Days: 6 days per week

  • Authority Level: Executes assigned duties, no budget or hiring authority

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Background in Procurement or Supply Chain is preferred

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmen
