We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care to our patients in a dynamic and supportive healthcare environment. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, youll work directly with patients to assess, treat, and manage a variety of respiratory conditions, helping improve their overall health and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients with respiratory disorders, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and mechanical ventilation support.
  • Assess patient respiratory status through physical examinations, lab reports, and diagnostic tests.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patients progress and make adjustments to treatment as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families about respiratory health, self-care techniques, and treatment plans.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of respiratory equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
  • Provide emergency respiratory support when necessary, including CPR and advanced life-saving techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Active Respiratory Therapist (RT) license in Texas.
  • Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
  • National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in respiratory therapy, including knowledge of respiratory care techniques, equipment, and clinical procedures.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with excellent communication skills.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
