Role Overview
The Team Lead, Enterprise Business Development is an executive leadership role responsible for setting Awarri's enterprise revenue strategy, personally closing our most strategic deals, and building a high-performing BD team. Reporting to the COO, this role turns growth targets into a functioning sales engine across government, corporate, and enterprise clients seeking AI and robotics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own Awarri's enterprise BD strategy, reporting directly to the COO on pipeline, performance, and market opportunity
- Build, lead, and coach a high-performing business development team, setting targets and holding the team accountable
- Personally lead and close high-value, complex enterprise deals from first contact through contract signature
- Build and maintain relationships with C-level stakeholders across government, corporate, and enterprise clients
- Partner with AI Engineering and Product to scope deliverable, well-structured solutions for clients
- Own pricing, negotiation, and commercial strategy on major contracts and partnerships
- Maintain accurate pipeline and revenue forecasting, and represent Awarri at key industry and government engagements
- Monitor market and competitive trends to inform strategy and offerings
Qualifications
- 12-15+ years in enterprise sales or business development, including 3+ years leading a team
- Proven track record closing large, complex deals with enterprise or government clients
- Strong negotiation skills and comfort operating at C-suite level
- Experience in AI, robotics, or tech-enabled services is a plus
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
