We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Director to join our leadership team and drive business growth, client excellence, and operational success.
Role Summary
The Business Director will be responsible for driving revenue growth, acquiring new business, nurturing strategic client relationships, and leading the successful delivery of integrated marketing solutions. The role requires a commercially minded leader who can inspire teams, develop winning strategies, and ensure exceptional client satisfaction while delivering profitable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
Identify, secure, and grow new business opportunities across FMCG, Telecommunications, Financial Services, Technology, Sports, and other key sectors.
Build and manage strategic relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Lead pitch development, commercial proposals, and business presentations.
Provide strategic direction on brand activation, experiential marketing, shopper marketing, events, and integrated marketing campaigns.
Oversee project delivery to ensure quality execution, profitability, and client satisfaction.
Collaborate with Strategy, Creative, Project Management, Finance, and Operations teams to deliver best-in-class solutions.
Monitor business performance, budgets, forecasts, and commercial KPIs.
Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
Identify market trends, consumer insights, and emerging opportunities to strengthen the company's competitive advantage.
Represent organisation at client engagements, industry events, and networking opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or a related discipline.
A Master's degree or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in business development, client service, account management, or commercial leadership within an advertising, experiential marketing, integrated marketing communications, or related agency.
Proven track record of winning new business and managing high-value client accounts.
Strong understanding of experiential marketing, brand activations, shopper marketing, events, and integrated marketing communications.
Excellent commercial, financial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong leadership, presentation, and strategic thinking capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business reporting tools.
