Data Scientist

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join the Ovation project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing, cleaning, validating, and structuring large volumes of show, theatre, venue, and revenue data sourced from multiple platforms. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work with automation tools and scripts.

Key Responsibilities

-Scrape, collect, and structure show, performance, and theatre data from assigned sources.

-Clean, normalize, and validate datasets to ensure accuracy and completeness.

-Perform deduplication and resolve conflicts across multiple data sources.

-Organize processed data into standardized formats for seamless integration into the Ovation database.

-Run automation scripts and report processing status daily.

-Maintain documentation of workflows and data sources.

Requirements:

Experience in data collection, cleaning, and processing (manual or automated).

Familiarity with Python, Excel/Sheets, and basic data scripting tools.

Ability to follow structured workflows and naming conventions.

Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Good communication and accountability for deadlines.

Preferred:

Experience with scraping tools
