LBF Recruitment Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions of Business (hereinafter referred to as “Condition”) are between Lifebank Microfinance Foundation, Inc. (referred to as “LBF”) and their candidate for recruitment (referred to as “Applicant”). The present general conditions will be applied to all recruitment processes accepted and carried out by LBF. By voluntarily completing this form, you agree to be bound by this Condition.
All information disclosed on this Career Page is being made available for the purpose of recruitment processes.
By accepting this Condition, you agree that you are accessing the Career Page for the purpose of doing the aforementioned transactions.
The term “you” or “your” refer to the Applicant.
These Terms and Conditions shall be effective, valid, and binding from the time you agreed to it and will exist up to the time that is terminated by us, save for some provisions which shall remain effective after termination as stated in this Terms and Conditions and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
1. General Terms of Service
1.1 When you submit an Application, you are requesting that we process the Application on your behalf and consent to the processing of your information. We may, in our sole discretion, choose whether or not to accept the Application.
1.2 LBF reserves its right to verify an Application that is done through its Career Page, especially if it involves compliance with laws, rules, or regulations.
1.3 We will attempt to process your Application promptly, but any delay or cancellation for a number of reasons including but not limited to: our efforts to verify your identity; to contact you; or due to variations in business hours; or otherwise to comply with applicable law.
1.4 In order to comply with our obligations under relevant laws, we reserve the right to ask for further information relating to your Application.
2. Applicants Consent
To continue with my application, I confirm the following:
Data Accuracy
2.1 I warrant that all information and documents submitted in relation to my application, are true and correct.
2.2 I acknowledge that it is my right and responsibility to identify and correct erroneous information submitted to LBF for its immediate rectification, and to ask LBF to erase or block the further processing of such information immediately after substantial proof.
2.3 LBF, at its sole discretion, automatically rejects my application and/or files a case against me in court for cause including damages arising from false or inaccurate information I provide. Likewise, I shall defend, indemnify and hold free and harmless, LBF from any and all actual or alleged obligations, claims, and demands.
Personal Data Processed
2.4 I authorize LBF to collect, process, use, and store (collectively “process or processing”) my personal information and sensitive personal information (collectively "personal data”) including my name, address, contact information, age, citizenship, sex, marital status, photographs, employment details, expected salary, and other information required in the application form.
2.5 I authorize LBF to process the personal data of character references or any individual whose personal data I may share with LBF. I also warrant that I have obtained the consent of such individuals for the processing described in this document.
Use of Personal Data
2.6 I authorize the use of this information for the processing of my application.
2.7 I authorize its use for data analytics, statistical analysis, demographics, business development purposes.
2.8 I authorize its use for character and background investigation.
Data Disclosure and Sharing
2.9 I authorize the disclosure to and collection of my personal data from government agencies such as SSS, HDMF, PhilHealth and BIR.
Storage and Retention
2.10 I authorize LBF to keep a copy and store my personal data, relevant information, and other documents it is able to collect for as long as is necessary for the fulfillment of the declared, specified, and legitimate purposes provided above, or when the processing is relevant to the said purposes, strictly in accordance with LBF’ records retention policy. After which, personal data shall be disposed of or discarded in a secure manner that would prevent further processing, unauthorizes access, or disclosure to any other party or the public. This is without prejudice to LBF’s right to retain such data for purposes of compliance to applicable laws and/or defense regulations, for the establishment and/or defense of legal claims or for any other purpose to the extent allowed under applicable laws and/or regulations, including, but not limited to, Republic Act No. 10173 otherwise known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and issuances of the National Privacy Commission (“NPC”) (collectively “Data Privacy Laws”).
2.11 I authorize LBF to communicate with me via phone call, SMS/text, email, and any other means of communication regarding updates of my application.
Data Subject Rights
2.12 I fully acknowledge that my consent is subject to applicable laws and/or regulations, including Data Privacy Laws, rules, and regulations. As such, I am aware of the existence of my rights as a data subject, including the right to be informed, to access, to rectify, to erasure, to block, to object, as well as the right to lodge a complaint before the NPC.
2.13 While it is my right to withdraw consent to the further processing of my application, I also recognize that the withdrawal of such consent corresponds to the cancellation of the application.
2.14 I am aware that I can contact LBF to inquire about the processing of my personal information, for complaints about such processing or to exercise any of my data subject rights by sending an email to the Data Privacy Officer at dpo_lbmfi@lbfinc.org.
3. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be construed and governed in accordance with the laws of the Philippines.
4. Separability Clause
Should any term or condition in this Condition be rendered void, illegal, or unenforceable in any respect under any law, the validity, legality, and enforceability of remaining terms and conditions shall not be affected or impaired thereby.
5. Amendments
LBF may at any time and for whatever reason it may deem proper, amend, revise, or modify these Terms and Conditions without further notice.
