Brief Description About The Project
We are seeking a skilled Medical Technician to join our research team at SJRI. The role involves providing technical support for a range of research projects, including those in nutrition, public health, and health technology. Key responsibilities include the setup, calibration, operation, and maintenance of medical and research equipment used in longitudinal, interventional, observational, cohort studies, and randomized controlled trials. The position also entails ensuring accurate data collection, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting the research team in maintaining high standards of technical quality.

- Manage the setup, installation, and configuration of advanced and sensitive equipment and devices.
- Perform systematic assessments using medical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards in the laboratory.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Perform quality control checks and resolve technical issues.
- Prepare technical reports, logs, and maintenance schedules.
- Supervise daily technical activities to ensure productivity.
- Perform accurate data entry, organize and collate data, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
