Job Purpose:
Lab- Microbiology: The researcher is responsible for the testing of samples assigned, using various microbiological analyses. The incumbent is to perform lab tests, data interpretation and maintaining documentation in accordance with required specifications, establish procedures and customer service standards.
Primary Responsibilities
Must have M.Sc. degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Any Lifescience.
Previous Experience
To execute microbiological test methods. Identification, isolation of different species of microorganisms.
Behavioral Competencies
Ability to get along well with people. Be willing to learn and contribute by working on multiple microbial characterization techniques and be capable of executing the work within timelines.

External Job Description
Job Purpose:
Lab- Microbiology: The researcher is responsible for the testing of samples assigned, using various microbiological analyses. The incumbent is to perform lab tests, data interpretation and maintaining documentation in accordance with required specifications, establish procedures and customer service standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute microbiological testing according to proposals including daily documentation of work performed and provide feedback/suggest process improvement changes.
- Interpretation of data and communicate to lab management.
- Initiate and investigate non-conformances through root cause analysis and determine corrective actions. Assist laboratory management in implementation of corrective actions.
- Maintain documentation and communicate deviations to lab management.
- Perform cultural confirmation to verify the purity and identity of the strain of microorganism and communicate expected/unexpected results to lab management.
- Support corporate quality and continuous improvement process.
- Perform other related duties as assigned within timelines.
- Observe corporate health and safety standards norms.
- Hands on experience in a lab working with microorganism’s isolation, purification, identification and preservation.
- Good written and verbal technical communication skills.
- The ability to execute, and appropriately document experiments.
- The ability to effectively interpret and present scientific data.
- Must be a proactive individual, as well as have solid communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work as a part of team.
Must have M.Sc. degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Any Lifescience.
Previous Experience
- 0 – 2 years of related work experience is required.
- The incumbent must have a general knowledge of microbiology to accurately perform testing procedures and obtain the correct results.
- Experience in handling microorganisms (Algae, Fungi & Bacteria) is preferred.
- Knowledge on paint preservatives is preferred.
