The Account Manager is responsible for the day to day management of accounts allocated to them. They act as the prime contact for the client. Working with the wider team (internal and external), they ensure successful delivery of tactical projects.
- Day to day contact with client as necessary
- Taking accurate briefings from client
- Clear briefing of internal team
- Developing, communicating and managing project timelines both internally and to client
- Working with our creative process from briefing to the final output
- Conduct, input into face to face meetings where necessary
- Ensure timely follow-ups on agreed actions
- Delivering a high standard of materials to clients (on brief, on time and accurate)
- Adhere to all internal production and studio processes
- Understand and adhere to client processes and approval regulations
- Estimating, financial reconciliation and management of all billable jobs
- Daily completion of time sheets (via the Paprika reporting system)
- Provide support on new business pitches where applicable
- Developing a good working relationship with all members of client team
- Acquiring a good understanding of the brand and competitor background
- Understanding client brand strategy
- Management of client expectations
- Effective taking of client briefs
- Development of project timelines
- Clear communication of project timelines and deadlines internally
- Planning, conducting and, client meetings
- Meeting and phone call follow up; writing contact reports and weekly situation reports
- Implementing agency creative process
- Development of clear and inspirational creative briefs
- Verbal briefing of creative, studio and other internal team members
- Timely estimating of all jobs and prompt invoicing
- Analysis of internal billing worksheets (hours reports)
- Management of budget trackers
- Strict adherence to timesheet completion
- Awareness of the market environment and new business opportunities
- Organisational and administration skills
- Communication skills
- Ability to use Powerpoint, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Good financial acumen
- Ability to plan workload
- Ability to develop and effectively communicate project timelines
- Attention to detail and good proof reading skills

- Solution focused – suggestion of ideas and recommendations where appropriate
Strong healthcare agency experience and exposure to global accounts. Some previous experience on digital projects (including iPad development and websites) is essential.
