BakerHicks are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Planner to support planning and scheduling activities across a portfolio of projects, including a major EPCM initiative. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a key role in delivering complex engineering projects within the life sciences sector.
As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for developing and managing robust project schedules, tracking progress, identifying risks, and ensuring alignment with project goals. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for developing and managing robust project schedules, tracking progress, identifying risks, and ensuring alignment with project goals. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
Key Deliverables
- Ensure all programme requirements are managed in line with contractual obligations and internal procedures.
- Develop, produce, and manage multiple project schedules, capturing all updates and changes.
- Fully integrate with project teams and clients to deliver exceptional service and foster repeat business.
- Proactively identify and mitigate scheduling risks and delays.
- Deliver impactful work across a dynamic and varied project portfolio.

- Be part of a supportive, high-performing team where your contribution makes a real difference.
- Develop your skills across multiple projects at different stages, expanding your professional experience and versatility.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Significant experience in project planning/scheduling, ideally in the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Strong understanding of engineering and construction processes.
- Experience working with engineering contractors and client representatives.
