The role


As the Medical Affairs and Regulatory Adviser, you will be a key member of Numan’s Legal, Data, Governance, and Regulatory team. This team ensures Numan meets all relevant regulations while supporting our commercial goals. You will play a central part in maintaining high standards for marketing materials and product claims, and in shaping a consistent, efficient marketing compliance process.


You will work cross-functionally with the research team to develop studies that support compelling claims for our products and services, as well as with our marketing, growth, and brand teams to ensure effective and compliant communications. Reporting to the Regulatory Manager, you'll engage with diverse regulatory and medical content responsibilities that are essential to our success.


You’ll be:


  • Creating and reviewing accurate, high-quality medical and scientific content that clearly reflects our products and services.
  • Providing expert oversight and review of advertising and promotional materials related to medical services, products, cosmetics, and food supplements.
  • Helping to maintain and improve our claims approval process, ensuring all content complies with regulatory standards.
  • Developing guidance materials and resources to support the business in producing compliant advertising.
  • Monitoring regulatory changes (e.g., ASA and CAP codes, the Blue Guide, food supplement regulations) and sharing updates with relevant teams.
  • Collaborating across teams to align on compliance approaches and uphold regulatory standards.
  • Keeping well-organised records of regulatory decisions and documentation to support transparency and consistency.


We’re looking for someone who has:


  • A background in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Experience writing or reviewing medical and regulatory content in the Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industries.
  • A skill for communicating clearly and translating complex information into accessible formats
  • Working knowledge of CAP codes, the Blue Guide, and food supplement regulations.
  • An appetite for a fast-paced work environment and evolving priorities.
  • Experience building strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Initiative and attention to detail when applying regulatory knowledge.
