Description

Responsibilities:

• - Lead the authoring of high-quality published reports on macroeconomic, industry and tech themes in the pharma sector.
• - Contribute to the business intelligence and disease/therapy area analysis that GlobalData provides by conducting a range of investigative, assessment, and forecasting activities for the pharma sector through secondary research as well as primary research.
• - Composing high quality digital marketing reports and providing insights on digital strategy across different disease areas and channels.
• - Collaborate with market analysts across the pharma sector to incorporate insights into your reports.
• - Work with established senior industry experts and provide research assistance for them.
• - Ability to have an in-depth knowledge of the pharma and healthcare sector including market and competitive trends.
• - Present and promote your analysis to senior executives, our commercial teams and business media.
• - Work with our database teams and data scientists to interpret vast data sets into meaningful analysis.
• - Manage, maintain, and develop GlobalData's proprietary thematic scoring engine and ensure the integrity of the data assets supporting out thematic analysis
• - Supervise more junior team members.

Requirements:

• - Possess minimum of a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in a science/pharmaceutical subject and knowledge in business analysis would be beneficial.
• - Excellent written English and strong numeracy skills to produce client facing material.
• - An active interest in and knowledge of digital healthcare and pharmaceutical industries
• - Ability to work independently to deliver research and analysis projects to challenging timescales
• - Ability to compile and assimilate large amounts of research and data in a short time
• - Strong business writing skills
• - A critical thinker, interested in technology-led disruption and macroeconomic themes
• - Confident, articulate communication and presentation skills
• - Advanced MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
• - 23-year work experience in the healthcare industry, pharmaceuticals, market research, consulting or in a related job function is required; experience working for a syndicated reports publishing company would be an advantage

Work experience in the healthcare industry or a syndicated reports publishing company is not essential but would be an advantage
