Have you got a background in sales within the Bioinformatics and Genomics space?

After just securing another round of funding this young biotech is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team in Cambridge. The company offer software solutions to address big data challenges in hospitals, Biotechs and Research Institutes.

As a Business Development Account Manager, you will be a key member of the Commercial sales team, responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic business development initiatives. Your role will be crucial to expand the companys market presence, establish new relationships, nurture existing relationships, and promote their technology solutions.

Ideally you will have

BSc in business or life sciences, or a related field.

Proven track record of success in BD and sales within the genomics or life sciences industry (ideally selling to hospitals, research institutes and biotechs)

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients

Self-motivated and able to work independently

Highly proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a results-oriented mindset

Familiarity with genomics technologies, next-generation sequencing, and Bioinformatics.

To succeed in this role, you should be a collaborative pioneer with a passion for Bioinformatics services with an understanding of Bioinformatics and Genomics technologies. A degree in science is preferred, and your existing network of UK based decision-makers will be a valuable asset to this company.
