Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Clinical Operations Specialist is to act as a Practice Management (PMIS) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) analyst and best practice consultant. The Specialist addresses PMIS and EHR cases submitted to the team and provides Tier I Level support to care centers within a timely manner. The Specialist builds and applies expertise in an area that supports the organization’s goals of optimizing the level at which practice providers and staff use enterprise PMIS and EHR platforms.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Participates in staff meetings
  • Assist with workflow changes & best practices for care centers
  • Assist with special projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 to 3 progressive years working with PMIS/EHR technology from a problem resolution and change management perspective
  • Experience with clinical workflows, PMIS/EHR software and physician practice management applications
  • Experience with athenaOne required
  • Effective time management, logical problem solving and analytical skills with demonstrated attention to detail
  • Outstanding listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work and communicate with providers and practice staff
  • A customer service mindset and the ability to solve problems
  • An interest in learning and ability to independently build skills and expertise with team support
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
