The Associate Medical Director at Physicians’ Education Resource (PER®) plays a vital role in developing CME/CE-certified educational initiatives. This position collaborates across cross-functional teams to create high-quality medical content that advances clinical knowledge and improves patient outcomes.
What You’ll Do
$120,000– $130,000 per year, depending on qualifications. Eligible for annual company bonus program or commission incentive based on role. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for this position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.

The Associate Medical Director at Physicians’ Education Resource (PER®) plays a vital role in developing CME/CE-certified educational initiatives. This position collaborates across cross-functional teams to create high-quality medical content that advances clinical knowledge and improves patient outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain expertise in assigned therapeutic areas.
- Create text-based and multimedia CME/CE-certified activities for live and online programs.
- Ensure adherence to ACCME and other regulatory standards in content development.
- Travel (15–20%) as needed to participate in onsite execution of educational activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure quality and accuracy of medical content.
- Comply with company SOPs and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Advanced degree preferred (MD, DO, PhD, RN, PharmD); other graduate degrees (MPH, MS) or bachelor’s degrees with relevant experience considered.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in CME/CE medical education content development.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to synthesize complex scientific data into cohesive educational materials.
- Solid therapeutic knowledge in relevant medical topics, with ability to quickly adapt to new therapeutic areas.
- Understanding of ACCME and related regulatory standards for CME/CE activity development.
- Familiarity with AMA style and best practices in medical publishing.
- Strong problem-solving skills; ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Workfront or other project management tools preferred.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven, with excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
