Rate: $90/hr. on W2 – (only USC, GC, GC EAD, H4EAD, TN visa works)
The Role
We are seeking an adaptive, self-motivated Design Verification Engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor, you will help drive and enhance client ability to deliver the highest-quality, industry-leading technologies to market. You will collaborate with experts in RTL, firmware, circuit, and architecture to develop cutting-edge, differentiating IPs.
The Person
You are passionate about modern, complex processor architecture, digital design, and verification. You thrive in a collaborative environment, have excellent communication skills, and enjoy working with engineers across multiple sites and time zones. You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn, and the drive to take on challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain functional verification tests.
- Build directed and random verification tests; debug failures to identify root cause and work with RTL and firmware engineers to resolve issues.
- Perform functional and code coverage verification.
- Provide technical support to other teams as needed.
Preferred Experience
- 10+ years of ASIC design verification experience.
- Proficiency with Verilog, SystemVerilog, and modern verification libraries such as UVM.
- Experience with C/C++.
- Background in DDR or Memory Controller; PHY verification is a plus.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL.
- Experience collaborating with architects, hardware engineers, and firmware engineers to verify new features.
- Understanding of Design for Test (DFT) methodologies; DFT verification experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in debugging firmware and RTL code using simulation tools.
Academic Credentials
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
