- Develop and oversee the implementation of strategies to minimize compliance risks in clinical research
- Conduct regular audits of clinical research activities to ensure adherence to protocols and regulations
- Collaborate with investigators and research staff to address compliance issues and promote adherence to regulations
- Manage system-wide processes and initiatives to standardize clinical research operations
- Provide education and mentorship to research personnel regarding clinical research activities and compliance regulations
- Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field, or 5+ years of experience in clinical research administration in lieu of a degree
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Knowledge of applicable regulations related to clinical research protocols and informed consent processes
- Understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and other relevant regulations and guidelines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and training
- Previous experience in managing clinical research operations
- Familiarity with the Belmont Report, Nuremberg Code, and International Conference of Harmonization GCP standards
- Experience with clinical trials and protocol development
- Ability to provide mentorship and guidance to research staff
- Commitment to ethical standards in human subject protection
