About the job Receptionist
Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.
Maintains security and telecommunications system.
Informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries.
Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.
Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Supports continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Minimum of 2 years receptionist experience
Previous hotel experience is a priority (4 to 5 star hotel preferred).
Excellent phone etiquette.
Excellent English communication skills
Should have a strong personality. Someone with courageous attribute in the implementation of company policies and procedures.
Should be customer service driven.
Able to work with minimum supervision.
Good use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
Able to multi-task.
Possess strong organizational skills.
Flexible and willing to work alone per shift. As per Qatar Labor Law, working days is six days a week with one day off and eight hours a day with one hour break.
