We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Community Manager to join our HOA Division. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to grow in the property management industry.

Position Summary:
The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in the day-to-day operations and management of a portfolio of Homeowners Association (HOA). The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and capable of handling multiple tasks with a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Community Manager with daily operations of assigned HOA community

  • Respond to homeowner inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner

  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and meeting packets

  • Assist with scheduling and attending board meetings, taking minutes as needed

  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for community maintenance and repairs

  • Perform property inspections and follow up on compliance issues

  • Update and maintain homeowner records and management software systems

  • Support the execution of annual budgets, billing, and financial reports

  • Help ensure enforcement of governing documents, policies, and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in HOA or property management preferred

  • Strong knowledge of HOA laws, governance, and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with management software is a plus

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally to community

  • Experience managing budgets, vendor contracts, and financial reporting


Preferred:

  • Industry certifications (e.g., CMCA, AMS, PCAM from CAI)
  • Experience managing large-scale communities or high-end associations
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Work Environment:

  • On-site: Monday - Friday
  • Some evening board meetings or weekend emergencies may be required
  • Occasional travel for training events
