The Digital Ad Operations Specialist plays a fundamental role in managing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns across various online platforms. Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Management (In-House and/or with Managed Service Partner Support):

  • Manage the intake and processing of digital campaign requests, including strategic planning, campaign budgeting/estimating, and flight forecasting.
  • Collaborate with internal and/or managed services partners/teams to develop effective digital ad strategies aligned with marketing objectives and target audience.
  • Set up and launch digital ad campaigns on various platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Business Ads Manager, and programmatic DSPs.
  • Monitor campaign performance, ensuring campaigns are running smoothly and achieving desired outcomes.
  • Analyze campaign data and metrics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Conduct regular campaign audits to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the campaign lifecycle.
  • Provide recommendations for campaign adjustments and modifications based on data- driven insights to account leadership.

Ad Trafficking and Technical Support:

  • Assist in organizing and trafficking approved ad copy, creative assets, tags/pixels (where applicable), URLs, and tracking codes across multiple ad platforms.
  • Collaborate with project management and creative teams (internal and client-side) to ensure timely delivery of ad assets that maintain quality and brand standards.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, programmatic media platforms, and managed service providers to optimize ad placements and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Perform regular quality assurance checks to ensure accurate ad rendering, proper tracking, and compliance with ad specifications and policies.

Campaign Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare regular reports on campaign performance, providing insights, analysis, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Create comprehensive documentation of campaign setups, strategies, and optimization techniques for reference and future campaigns, coordinating with other internal stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Generate ad hoc reports as requested by internal teams or clients, showcasing campaign effectiveness and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist operations staff and/or department leadership in the development and cross- training of standard operating procedures related to core digital marketing activities and functions as applicable.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experience (2-3 years minimum) working in digital ad operations or digital advertising customer success, preferably in an agency environment, supporting clients primarily in the healthcare industry.
  • Prior experience working directly with programmatic media platforms and managed service providers is a must.
  • Prior experience directly managing paid social media campaigns for a healthcare brand ,hospitals and healthcare system or organization is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Google Analytics, Excel, and data visualization platforms, with a solid understanding of digital advertising metrics and performance indicators.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Availability to travel as needed including quarterly onsite in Chattanooga, TN

The salary for this position is expected to be $65,000 - $85,000 depending on experience and geography.
