Kitchen Chef

Salary:
Up to $2700 (Allowances provided) 

Job duties:

  • Assist in preparing ingredients for various dishes according to the restaurants recipes and standards.
  • Support kitchen staff in cooking tasks such as grilling, frying, boiling, steaming, and stir-frying.
  • Ensure the kitchen area is kept clean and organized at all times.
  • Monitor and replenish kitchen ingredients and supplies when necessary.
  • Handle customers special dietary requests or dish modifications under the guidance of kitchen staff or management
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures related to food handling, safety, hygiene, and customer service.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Good knife skills and able to operate a wok. Candidates with teppanyaki experience will be an added advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of ingredient preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Willing to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment and support team members when needed.
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays based on kitchen operational needs.

Working hours:
10am - 9am / 11am - 10pm, 6 working days.
