Rebar Steel Production Senior Manager / Director

Job scope:

• Lead and oversee daily production operations to achieve production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments.
• Oversee production planning, scheduling, manpower deployment, and machine utilization.
• Manage production supervisors, team leaders, machine operators, and production workers.
• Drive initiatives to improve productivity, streamline processes, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements and company safety standards.
• Track and monitor production KPIs, machine performance, downtime, and production costs.
• Work closely with Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Maintenance, Engineering, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Implement and maintain ISO 9001 quality management requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement projects, including Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and automation initiatives.
• Support the implementation, optimization, and effective use of MES, ERP, and other digital manufacturing systems.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly operational reports to senior management.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing or production management experience.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing production teams.
• Experience in steel fabrication, rebar manufacturing, metal processing, construction materials, heavy manufacturing, or related industries will be highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, quality systems, workplace safety, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience managing large production teams and multiple production lines.
• Familiar with ERP, MES, and production reporting systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
