Panel Beater (Vehicle Body Repairer)

Body Repairer

Salary: $2200 - $2800

Job details:

- Assist the Claims Advisor to assess accident car damages and repair scope listing.

- Repair damaged vehicles, using specified tools, to pre-accident condition by removing dents/rust, replacing or repairing parts and structural damages, etc.

- Perform welding, pulling and adjustment on body panel structures and frames using Jigs & Fixtures or Chassis Alignment & Computerised Measuring equipment provided

- Ensure and maintain a consistently high quality of work before passing on vehicle to the next repair stage/personnel

- Inform the Direct Superior and/or Claims Advisor on any damage(s) that is not included in the original work scope

- Deliver work within stipulated repair time

- Regularly update the Direct Superior and/or Claims Advisor on job progress and escalate immediately on foreseeable delay

- Where applicable, carry out aluminium repair work only within assigned area using appropriate extraction equipment

- Give maximum care to vehicle using exterior and interior protective covers (including floor and seats)

Requirements:

- At least 1 year of relevant experience will be an advantage

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

- Good time management skills to meet deadlines

- Ability to identify and effectively solve problems

- Flexible, friendly, helpful nature & team player

Working hours:

Monday - Friday: 8.30am to 5.30pm

Saturdays: 8.30am to 12.30pm
