The company is looking for an Application Engineer to work in the Chinese market located in Wuhan, China

About the Job

This is a fully remote position based in Wuhan, China and the first boots on ground in China for the company. You will be part of the global technical team and be involved primarily working in providing technical and application support in the field of simulation-based (CAE/CFD) design, optimization, and machine learning to customers in China

Job Responsibilities

Provide application support for use of the companys software platforms

Provide support and guidance to customers on the use of multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO) strategies, optimization algorithms and design exploration strategies

Provide support and guidance to customers on use of Response Surface Modeling (RSM) technology, machine learning methods, advanced data analytics and statistical data analysis.

Provide technical and application training to customers for the software platform and the underlying mathematical methods.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

2-4 years of relevant CAE industry experience

Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering

Basic knowledge of Optimization and Machine Learning techniques

Basic knowledge of statistical data analysis

Interest in problem solving

Proactive attitude and willingness to learn

High level of competence in English language, both written and spoken
