Branch Manager

 Job Description:

We are representing a well-established logistics and supply chain solutions provider with a strong presence across Asia. We are company that offers a comprehensive range of services including freight forwarding, contract logistics, cross-border trucking, and e-commerce logistics.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the branch operational and financial performance of P&L by identifying new business opportunities and implementing new sales strategies
  • Lead branch operations to ensure smooth daily logistics and freight forwarding operations to meet service standards and customer satisfaction
  • Guide, motivate, and build a high-performing team to ensure staff productivity and retention
  • Customer relationship management to foster strong client relationships to retain key accounts and secure repeat business
  • Manage branch financial performance by controlling costs and optimising profitability
  • Ensure branch compliance with customs regulations, company SOPs, and industry standards to mitigate risks

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years in freight forwarding/logistics; at least 3 years in a managerial role
  • Strong people management, mentoring, and team development skills
  • Proven track record of achieving sales/revenue goals in logistics
  • Well understanding of customs clearance, air/sea/land logistics, and Johor region market
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English & Bahasa Malaysia)
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Proficient in MS Office and logistics systems, processes and compliances
