Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and competent 1st Officer (Senior DP Operator) to serve onboard an Anchor Handling, Towing, and Supply (AHTS) vessel. The ideal candidate will be a qualified ship handler with strong offshore and DP operations background, supporting the Master in safe vessel operations, rig support, and offshore supply activities while maintaining the highest safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Master in safe vessel navigation and overall command.
  • Act as Senior DP Operator, ensuring safe and efficient positioning during offshore operations.
  • Manage and supervise deck operations, including anchor handling, towing, and supply functions.
  • Monitor, operate, and maintain DP and navigational systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with HSSE policies and industry standards.
  • Supervise and train deck crew to maintain operational efficiency and safety culture.
  • Liaise with clients, charterers, and shore management to ensure smooth vessel operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as 1st Officer on AHTS vessels.
  • Must have valid Dynamic Positioning Operators Certificate, with:
            a) At least 2 years DP experience, and
            b) Minimum 250 hours on the vessels DP system.
  • Must have the below listed certificates:
            a) Certificate of Competency (CoC): Chief Mate Unlimited A-II/2.
            b) Valid H2S/BA certificate.
            c) Valid HUET (OPITO Approved) certification.
            d) Valid STCW certificates (Firefighting, First Aid, and Sea Survival).
            e) T-BOSIET (Tropical Basic Safety Induction Emergency Training                       OPITO Approved).
