About the job Project Manager - Oil & Gas (EPC), Egypt

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the Oil & Gas sector and proven expertise in EPC project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of EPC projects, from conceptual design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, to handover.
  • Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Oversee and coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractor teams.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, HSE (Health, Safety & Environment), and quality standards throughout all project phases.
  • Monitor and control project risks, costs, and progress, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Manage and report project KPIs, deliverables, and milestones to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Lead client engagement and relationship management, ensuring effective communication and alignment with customer expectations.
  • Drive contract management, including claims, variations, and dispute resolution.
  • Foster a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to international Oil & Gas and EPC standards.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to project team members.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or equivalent); a Masters degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  • 10 -15 years of proven experience in Project Management within the Oil & Gas EPC industry.
  • Strong track record of delivering large-scale EPC projects within the O&G industry.
  • Egyptian nationals preferred.
  • Previous interaction/experience with Aramco is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of EPC contracts.
  • Strong commercial and financial management skills with experience managing multi-million-dollar projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Familiarity with international HSE and quality standards
  • Multinational and multicultural work experience preferred.
