We are looking for a Crude Marketing Advisor for one of our prestigious clients in Muscat, Oman.

Position Overview: As a Crude Marketing Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing, strategizing, and executing marketing initiatives related to crude oil products. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating the complexities of the global energy market, identifying market trends, and developing effective strategies to maximize the value of crude oil assets. Your insights will directly impact decision-making processes, pricing strategies, and market positioning

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Crude Marketing and Sales strategy development with value drivers and risk mitigation process.
  • Analyze competitors' marketing strategies and market positioning to identify areas for differentiation and competitive advantage.
  • Lead the development of the annual crude oil sales plan and contract renegotiation process.
  • Optimize crude lifting schedule to maximize value for the Company.
  • Oversee review and approval of large O&G contracts sold by sales and marketing team.
  • Provide guidance to oil sales and marketing team to optimize profitability of the sales process.
  • Supervise oil sales invoicing process performed by the company accounting and reporting team and accountable with the company CFO for any error in invoicing process.
  • Set direction of Sales & Marketing unit and assign roles within unit.
  • Design and build up target company sales and marketing internal capabilities.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies to protect the company's interests.
  • Ensure that all marketing activities adhere to legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as Crude Marketing Advisor or similar role in Oil & Gas industry.
  • Required 15+ years of experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
  • Excellent understanding of global energy markets, geopolitical dynamics, and regulatory factors.
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or similar is preferred.
