One of our esteemed clients in the UAE is seeking to hire a Social Media Editor with a passion for sports and digital storytelling.

Job Purpose:

The Social Media Editor will support the creation of original text and video content, manage day-to-day social media activity, and engage with followers to build a compelling and consistent brand voice. This role plays a vital part in achieving audience engagement and marketing goals while adhering to internal policies, professional standards, and UAE regulations. Person should be specialized in photography, editing, writing, and managing the end-to-end cycle of social media content planning and posting.

Work Nature:

Hybrid a mix of in-office responsibilities and on-site coverage of programs and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, schedule, and publish sports-focused content across social platforms.
  • Research and apply trends and best practices in social media strategy.
  • Maintain a consistent tone and visual identity across all posts.
  • Monitor audience engagement and user feedback.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure cohesive messaging.
  • Respond to audience inquiries in a timely, engaging manner.
  • Assist in campaign rollouts and promotional activities.
  • Design visuals for posts, stories, and highlights.
  • Stay updated on tech, multimedia, and content innovation trends.
  • Oversee editorial and post-production workflows to ensure high-quality output.
  • Attend planning sessions and contribute content ideas, articles, and designs.
  • Present creative pitches for campaigns and branded content.
  • Tailor digital content to sports audiences for maximum engagement.
  • Analyze multimedia metrics (followers, views, engagement, etc.).
  • Work cross-functionally to streamline content workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety, and confidentiality standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in the UAE.
  • Certifications: Preferred certifications in content creation, digital marketing, or related fields.
  • Experience: 0-3 years of relevant experience.
