Project Engineer

About the Role
We are partnering with our client, a well-established local construction firm, to hire a detail-oriented Project Engineer to join their team for a long-term project. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a company known for delivering innovative and iconic structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
• Interpret and review engineering plans, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Oversee site inspections, testing, and quality control for engineering-related activities.
• Manage procurement and coordinate delivery of materials and equipment.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Resolve technical issues and challenges during the construction process.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience working on high-rise construction projects.
• Strong understanding of structural and civil engineering principles.
• Proficiency in construction management tools and software.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or similar credential.
• Masters degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of sustainable building practices, including LEED certification.
