Overview:

We are partnering with a well-established local construction management company based in Honolulu. They specialize in mid-rise commercial buildings, high-end custom residential construction, and comprehensive preconstruction services. Due to growth, they are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Project Administrator to join their team.


Position Summary:

As a Project Administrator, you will play a key support role in helping the project management team deliver successful construction projects across Oahu. This position is ideal for someone with a background in construction administration or project coordination who is looking to grow with a respected firm. You will be responsible for maintaining project documentation, supporting scheduling, coordinating with subcontractors, and assisting in communication across all phases of construction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and coordination support to project managers and engineers

  • Maintain accurate and organized project records including submittals, RFIs, change

    orders, and schedules

  • Assist with subcontractor and vendor communication and documentation tracking

  • Prepare meeting agendas and minutes, and ensure timely follow-ups

  • Support permitting processes and preconstruction documentation

  • Help track procurement logs, deliveries, and material orders

  • Assist with general administrative tasks as needed in both the office and job site settings

Qualifications:

  • 13 years of experience in construction administration or project coordination preferred

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore or similar project

    management software is a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Team-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn
