Engineer Diver - Marine & Structural Projects
We are partnering with a leading construction engineering firm that specializes in marine, coastal, and infrastructure engineering to find an experienced Engineer Diver. This role supports commercial diving operations and marine infrastructure projects, with a focus on underwater inspections, engineering design, and interdepartmental coordination.
The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, commercial diving experience, and a passion for working on unique, hands-on projects in marine environments.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct underwater inspections of bridges, piers, and other marine structures

Perform engineering analysis and contribute to design solutions for marine and coastal projects

Support logistics, scheduling, and planning for dive operations

Assist in the preparation of proposals, including material takeoffs and cost estimates

Produce detailed inspection reports and technical documentation

Develop and review dive plans in accordance with ADCI/OSHA and EM385-1-1 standards
Required Qualifications

ADCI-certified commercial diver (or equivalent)

Familiarity with EM385-1-1 dive standards

Ability to obtain DBIDS and TWIC credentials

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Willingness and flexibility to travel as needed for project-based work to Hawaii, Guam, Japan, etc.
Preferred Qualifications

ADCI Dive Supervisor certification

NHI-certified Underwater Bridge Inspector

NHI Bridge Inspection Team Leader certification

Experience drafting technical reports and using MS Project
