Receptionist - Medical Clinic

Are you a bright, organized, and friendly individual looking to kickstart your career in the medical field? A reputed Medical Group in Sharjah is seeking a Smart Receptionist to join their dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet and welcome patients and visitors to the clinic.
  • Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations, both in person and over the phone.
  • Answer phone calls professionally, provide information, and direct inquiries to the appropriate department or staff member.
  • Register new patients and update existing patient information accurately in the system.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks, including scanning, filing, and data entry.
  • Process patient payments and manage petty cash if required.
  • Provide general information about the medical group's services.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front office, customer service, or receptionist role, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and "smart" approach to handling daily tasks and patient interactions.
  • Fluency in English is essential; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
