As we scale, we are strengthening our commercial function and seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to lead our sales and marketing efforts, drive revenue growth, and build a high-performing commercial team.

Job Purpose

To lead, manage, and execute the sales and marketing strategy of Litarm Consults by driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and ensuring a consistent pipeline of quality leads. The Business Development Manager will supervise and coach both the Sales and Digital Marketing Associates, ensuring alignment between marketing activities and sales results. This role requires a strong executor, capable leader, and growth-oriented strategist who can hit the ground running and deliver immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities

    Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

    • Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to closing across recruitment, manpower management, training, and HR advisory services.
    • Personally handle high-value client engagements, presentations, negotiations, and contract closures.
    • Ensure the Sales Associate consistently meets weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets.
    • Develop and refine sales strategies, scripts, templates, and outreach plans that improve conversion rates.
    • Monitor pipeline health and provide real-time coaching to improve deal velocity.

    Marketing Strategy & Lead Generation

    • Lead and supervise the Business Development Associate - Digital Marketing to ensure targeted content creation, brand visibility, and high-quality lead generation.
    • Develop and execute marketing campaigns across LinkedIn, email, website, and other relevant channels.
    • Introduce and manage lead generation strategies such as lead magnets, webinars, industry insights, and targeted outreach.
    • Track and analyse marketing performance to ensure steady growth in followers, engagement, and conversions.
    • Ensure marketing activities directly support sales objectives and revenue goals.

    CRM & Data Management

    • Ensure the team consistently uses the CRM for pipeline updates, activity tracking, and reporting.
    • Review CRM data weekly to evaluate team performance and identify bottlenecks.
    • Leverage CRM insights to optimize sales and marketing strategies.

    Team Supervision & Performance Management

    • Provide daily/weekly guidance, coaching, and performance reviews for the Sales and Digital Marketing Associates.
    • Set clear KPIs for both roles and hold the team accountable through structured reporting.
    • Lead weekly commercial meetings to assess progress, address challenges, and set priorities.

    Business Development & Market Expansion

    • Identify new markets, industries, and opportunities for expansion.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, strategic partners, and stakeholders.
    • Represent Litarm Consults at industry events, conferences, and networking platforms.

    Reporting & Strategy Execution

    • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for management.
    • Contribute to the development and execution of the companys annual business development strategy.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    Sales

    • Monthly/quarterly revenue achieved vs. targets
    • Sales conversion rates (lead proposal closed deal)
    • Speed and efficiency of pipeline movement
    • Performance of Sales Associate against KPIs

    Marketing

    • Number of qualified leads generated monthly
    • Growth in LinkedIn engagement, followers, and conversions
    • Conversion rate of marketing leads to sales-qualified leads
    • Performance of Digital Marketing Associate against KPIs

    Team Leadership

    • CRM data accuracy and usage compliance
    • Team productivity and activity levels
    • Quality of reporting and insights for decision-making

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
    • Minimum 5 years of proven B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
    • Experience in professional services is highly desirable
    • Demonstrated ability to lead sales and marketing teams
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, and lead generation
    • Strong sales leadership and closing skills
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
    • Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline
    • Highly proactive, results-oriented, and self-driven
    • Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into decisions
