Job Purpose

The Electrotechnician is responsible for the autonomous and accurate assembly, wiring, testing, and validation of battery swap cabinets and charging infrastructure. The role ensures that all electrical systems meet technical specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements, directly contributing to the performance, reliability, and safety of companys electric mobility solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assembly & Maintenance

Assemble and wire battery swap cabinets, PDUs, and related charging equipment independently

Interpret and accurately implement electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.

Perform advanced troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repairs within the technical workshop.

Conduct in-house functional testing of assembled systems prior to deployment.

Enforce strict electrical safety procedures when handling high-voltage components and batteries.

2. Quality Control & Validation

Perform end-of-line inspections and validation checks on electrical cabinets and subsystems.

Identify, document, and report wiring defects, anomalies, or non-conformities.

Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on assembly and testing procedures.

3. Technical Monitoring & Documentation

Read, interpret, and apply electrical diagrams, layouts, and technical manuals.

Contribute to technical documentation, including wiring layouts, inspection checklists, troubleshooting guides, and test reports.

Maintain accurate records of assembly, testing, and quality control activities.

Qualifications and Skills Required

Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Electrotechnics, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field from a recognized Technical Institute.

Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in electrical assembly, troubleshooting, and automation within industrial or technical environments.

Experience in electric mobility, renewable energy, or solar systems is an added advantage.

Strong understanding of electrical safety standards, wiring regulations, and diagnostic procedures.

Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic tools such as multimeters, continuity testers, and related equipment.

Ability to read and accurately interpret electrical schematics and system diagrams.

Good command of technical English, with strong reading and writing skills for manuals and safety documentation.
