Principal / Associate Civil or Structural Engineer

This is a newly created role within an innovative, international consultant that prides themselves on their ability to evolve and provide practical engineering services outside of the standard office environment. This business have grown their capabilities and strengths from structural investigations and project management, to further provide a suite of expertise across structural and civil design, engineering drafting, photogrammetry, and geotechnical engineering and asset management within the mining, heavy industry, maritime and public sectors.

After experiencing significant growth throughout their Australian branches, this consultancy are looking for an experienced Civil or Structural Engineering professional at a Principal or Associate level to join their business and help them in reaching new heights within the NZ market. This role has the flexibility of being open to location, and will involve providing leadership and strategic management expertise to the NZ team, whilst still managing the overall delivery of projects.

To be successful in this role you must have:

• A recognised and relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with NZ CPEng
• A minimum of 8-10 years experience working within the NZ Engineering market
• High interpersonal skills and commercial accumen
• Proven leadership and mentoring experience
