Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician to join our team in the South Philadelphia area. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity focused on the maintenance and repair of essential commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems.

Role & Schedule Overview

  • Schedule: Full-time, MondayFriday (40+ hours/week) with shifts running from early morning to mid-afternoon.
  • On-Call: Rotational On-Call duty required (typically 1 week per month).
  • Location: Candidates must reside within 40 miles of South Philadelphia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC/R systems.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all types of equipment.
  • Ensure full compliance with all safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of all services performed and parts used.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience troubleshooting and repairing Commercial Refrigeration Equipment. This includes Split Systems, Rooftop Units, Walk-In Coolers & Freezers, and Rack Refrigeration Systems.
  • Certifications: Active EPA Universal Certification is required.
  • Background: Candidates must currently or previously have worked as an HVAC/R Technician, Commercial Refrigeration Technician, or Commercial HVAC Technician.
  • Screening: Must successfully pass a Background Check, Drug Test (including marijuana, though a medical card is required if testing positive), and MVR Screen (clean driving record).
  • Preferred: OSHA certification is a plus.
