We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated Sales Account Manager to join our team. This role combines new business development with account management and offers growth potential into a Sales Manager role based on performance.

Role Overview

As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing B2B accounts, and ensuring client satisfaction from proposal to project completion. This is a consultative sales role requiring strong relationship-building, technical knowledge, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with property managers, HOAs, and commercial clients to drive new and recurring sales..
  • Research and qualify prospects via internet, social media, and cold calling.
  • Generate leads by connecting with decision makers (calls, meetings, walk-ins, bidding platforms).
  • Conduct in-person job walks and site visits to build rapport, assess project scope, client expectations, and site conditions.
  • Draft and submit proposals in a timely manner (goal: within 5 business days of RFP).
  • Maintain accurate CRM records (HubSpot) with all activity, tasks, and pipeline updates.
  • Ensure client questions, concerns, and complaints are addressed quickly and professionally.
  • Complete required paperwork: proposals, vendor packets, contracts, vendor registrations.
  • Participate actively in weekly meetings, contributing to company goals and reviewing KPIs.
  • Commit to continuous self-education in sales best practices and share knowledge with team.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of B2B sales or account management experience (construction, building services, or property management preferred).
  • Familiarity with exterior building maintenance, painting, or related industries (or ability to learn quickly).
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with ability to present tailored solutions.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) for sales pipeline management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to handle multiple accounts.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Financial acumen for proposals, pricing, and contracts.

Compensation & Growth

  • Base salary: $65,000 $80,000 annually (based on experience).
