The Opportunity: Master the Numbers, Build the Future

We are seeking an experienced and sharp Senior Estimator to be the financial backbone of our most exciting construction ventures. This is a critical role that directly impacts our success, giving you the chance to work on challenging and rewarding projects from concept to completion.

As our Cost Estimator, you won't just run numbers, you will be a strategic partner, translating ambitious blueprints into precise, executable financial plans. If you have a meticulous eye for detail and the drive to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities: What You Will Do

• Financial Architect: Take ownership of preparing comprehensive and accurate cost estimates by expertly analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other crucial project documentation.
• Strategic Sourcing: Accurately determine all key cost variables, including labor, materials, equipment, and scheduling to build a robust financial model for each project.
• Collaboration: Act as a central communication hub, actively partnering with project managers, architects, engineers, and vendors to gather essential project details and pricing.
• Bidding & Procurement: Conduct detailed quantity take-offs, execute accurate pricing, prepare thorough bid packages, and actively participate in the competitive bidding process.
• Market Mastery: Maintain and curate an organized directory of reliable suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring we leverage the best market resources.
• Project Oversight: Provide continuous support and expertise during contract negotiations and project execution, proactively reviewing and updating estimates as project scope evolves.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Proven Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of progressive, hands-on experience as a Cost Estimator within the construction industry.
• 2+ years experience in NYC
• Industry Expertise: Strong, in-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, sequencing, and current market pricing trends.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in industry-standard estimation software is essential.
• Core Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy, and highly developed organizational and communication skills.

• Experience focused on commercial or high-rise construction projects.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines.
