We're looking for a Product Owner (Orders and Integrations). Based in our Toronto office, we are looking for an innovative Product Owner to lead our Orders and Integrations team, shaping the future of our global ecommerce platform. In this pivotal role, you'll drive the strategic roadmap, manage delivery, and refine the product vision of our Order Management System (OMS) while overseeing various integrations with client platforms.

More specifically, you will:

  • Define, manage, and communicate the product roadmap, vision, and delivery for our OMS, the core of our global ecommerce platform.
  • Oversee integrations across multiple channels into clients back office systems and enrich orders flowing through our systems.
  • Work with developers and integration experts to manage multi-tenant, cross-border platforms (multilingual, multi-site, multi-currency).
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their back office system requirements and ensure seamless integration with our platform.
  • Lead the development and enhancement of OMS features, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure product requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for OMS-related inquiries and issues, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Analyse product performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our OMS remains competitive and cutting-edge.
  • Use analytics and data to understand usage and performance, integrating data-driven insights into product enhancements.
  • Work with AI-powered vendors to implement product enhancements and model training.
  • Collaborate with international trading managers, customer services, and other parts of the business to establish and build new features for the OMS platform.
  • Provide technical support and challenge your team to resolve bugs or issues swiftly.
  • Define and implement long-term tactics to visualize and manage integrations aligned with revenue growth.
  • Provide demonstrations to the business to showcase your team's work.
  • Be the voice of orders and integrations within the organization, effectively communicating with partners and stakeholders.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience managing ecommerce sites, platforms, or businesses.
  • Proven experience in product ownership within ecommerce.
  • Strong understanding of order management systems and back office integrations.
  • Ideally worked with Shopify, Magento or similar
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Working knowledge of API integrations with ecommerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with Order Management Systems (as a user or product owner).
  • Understanding of cross-border commerce, tax, duty, shipping, and delivery.
  • Experience in user interface design, working with data and stakeholders to create a beautiful UX.
  • Ability to work in high-performance environments under tight deadlines.
  • Deep understanding of retail/ecommerce businesses, driven by strong execution of concepts.
