We're looking for a Product Owner (PIM). Based in our Toronto office, we're seeking an innovative Product Owner (Product Information Management) to lead our products team and shape the future of our global e-commerce platform. In this pivotal role, you'll drive the strategic roadmap, manage delivery, and refine the product vision, all while overseeing seamless product feeds across multiple channels, catalogues, and clients in different languages and currencies.

More specifically, you will:

  • Manage the product roadmap, vision, and delivery for the products integrated into our global e-commerce platform.
  • Handle inbound and outbound product feeds across multiple channels, languages, currencies, and clients.
  • Ensure that all product feeds are accurate and optimised to help drive revenue.
  • Work with a team of developers and feed experts to manage multi-tenant, cross-border platforms (multilingual, multi-site, multi-currency).
  • Manage syndication and marketplace integration.
  • Collaborate with external clients and technical teams (onshore and offshore).
  • Understand data-driven searches and integrate data analytics effectively.
  • Work with GenAI to implement advanced translations and model training.
  • Manage feed mappings and transformations.
  • Work with key stakeholders in trading, marketing, and other functions to support growth initiatives.
  • Analyse product performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Provide technical support and challenge your team to resolve bugs or issues swiftly.
  • Define and implement long-term tactics to visualize and manage product feeds for revenue growth.
  • Be the voice of products within the organization and communicate effectively with partners and stakeholders.

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • 5+ years experience of managing e-commerce sites, platforms, or businesses.
  • Proven experience in product ownership within e-commerce.
  • Working knowledge of product feeds, XML, JSON, CSV, and ETL/ELT.
  • Be familiar with product search engines like Algolia.
  • Familiarity with product taxonomy, inventory management, and large product catalogues.
  • Ability to simplify complex pipelines for business visualization.
  • Able to work in high-performance environments under tight deadlines.
  • Deep understanding of retail/e-commerce businesses, driven by strong execution of concepts.
