Senior Backend Engineer - Part time

The Project Scope

We are looking for a specialist to own the backend architecture for our platforms. The goal is to build a scalable, secure, and high-performance system that integrates seamlessly with our existing ecosystem.

Key Deliverables

• Architecture Design: Define and implement a robust backend architecture using PHP (Laravel) or Node.js.
• API Development: Build secure RESTful or GraphQL APIs for web and mobile frontends.
• Third-Party Integrations: Seamlessly integrate with Property Management Systems (PMS), payment gateways (Stripe/Checkout), and CRM tools.
• Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas (MySQL/PostgreSQL) for high-traffic scenarios.
• Documentation & Handoff: Provide clean, well-documented code and a clear technical roadmap for future maintenance.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Seniority: 3+ years of backend development experience with a proven portfolio of successful project deliveries.
• Expertise: Deep mastery of PHP/Laravel or Node.js/Express/NestJS.
• Integrations: Demonstrated experience connecting hospitality or real-estate APIs.
• Mindset: A professional, "service-oriented" approach to development—prioritizing the end-user experience.
