Work Type: Onsite Locum + Tele-Dentistry (remote screening, consults, post-op)

Classification: 1099 Independent Contractor

Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide comprehensive general dentistry services in both onsite and telehealth-based settings. This blended model offers flexibility while supporting clinics statewide in providing high-quality patient care.

• Provide general dentistry services, including exams, restorative work, extractions, and emergency care.

• Conduct virtual dental screenings, triage, treatment planning, and post-operative follow-ups.

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of general dental conditions.

• Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and clinic leadership to ensure smooth patient workflow.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation within the required timeframe.s

• Provide evidence-based patient education and treatment recommendations.s

• Deliver high-quality care while maintaining clinic efficiency and patient satisfaction.

Requirements (Qualifications)

• Active California Dental License (DDS or DMD)

• DEA registration (if prescribing)

• Experience in general dentistry required

• Comfortable with digital charting and technology platforms

• Ability to work independently in fast-paced or rural settings

• Strong communication and patient education skills

• Tele-dentistry experience preferred but not required.
