They are seeking a qualified Flight Dispatch Officer to join its Integrated Operations Control (IOC) team. This role is central to ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient execution of regional and international flight operations in a dynamic, time-critical environment.

Operating within a shift-based structure, the Flight Dispatch Officer will support flight planning, real-time monitoring, and disruption management. The position offers exposure to end-to-end operational decision-making and requires close coordination with multiple teams to maintain operational integrity while proactively managing risks, delays, and deviations.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Flight Planning & Dispatch Compliance

  • Prepare compliant dispatch packages covering weather, NOTAMs, routing, fuel, and constraints
  • Ensure flight plans align with regulatory requirements and operational limitations
  • Validate alternates, payload restrictions, and route feasibility before release

Pre-Departure Coordination

  • Conduct readiness checks across crew, aircraft, maintenance, and ground operations
  • Verify documentation accuracy and operational readiness before flight release
  • Resolve operational discrepancies ahead of scheduled departure

Flight Monitoring & Operational Control

  • Monitor flights continuously from departure through to arrival
  • Manage reroutes, redispatch decisions, and in-flight operational deviations
  • Maintain situational awareness to support safe and efficient flight progression

Operational Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with Crew Control, Maintenance, Ground Operations, and Network Control teams
  • Communicate operational updates, risks, and changes clearly across stakeholders
  • Escalate issues in line with defined authority levels and protocols

Disruption & Risk Management

  • Support disruption handling including diversions, delays, and recovery planning
  • Issue revised dispatch releases in response to operational changes
  • Maintain accurate logs, records, and audit trails to company standards

🔹 Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in airline flight dispatch or operations control
  • Valid Flight Dispatch / Flight Operations Officer Licence, KCAA or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of flight planning systems, including Jeppesen, Lido or similar
  • Solid understanding of meteorology, NOTAMs, MEL/CDL, fuel planning, and alternates
  • Familiarity with international flight operations and regulatory compliance frameworks
  • Proven ability to operate effectively under pressure in a shift-based environment
  • Strong situational awareness with high attention to operational detail
  • Effective communication and coordination skills across multi-functional teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or a related discipline preferred
