About the job Regional Manager Strategic Sales - Freight Forwarding
Our client is a leading freight forwarding and supply chain organisation with a strong footprint across the Middle East. They seek a highly motivated Regional Manager – Strategic Sales, to spearhead their commercial sales strategy across the GCC. Reporting directly to the CEO – Middle East, this senior leadership role is pivotal in driving revenue, expanding strategic client relationships, and aligning regional sales efforts with the company’s ambitious growth agenda.
Operating in a highly competitive, opportunity-rich environment, the role offers a unique platform to influence regional business outcomes through high-level commercial engagements, particularly with Arab National decision-makers. The ideal candidate will bring a decisive, performance-led approach to sales strategy, market penetration, and team leadership, with regular engagement across multiple GCC markets.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership
- Lead regional sales strategy focused on gross profit-driven outcomes across the GCC
- Guide and mentor country-level sales teams to engage high-potential prospects
- Build and manage high-impact client relationships with large corporate accounts
Commercial Oversight & Reporting
- Deliver monthly sales performance reports and KPIs to senior management
- Ensure Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) compliance for the region and manage team-level financial discipline
- Collaborate with country heads and local managers to target strategic accounts
Trade Lane Development
- Define sales priorities and campaigns for key trade lanes with budget alignment
- Develop selling tools and benchmarking materials for high-impact trade lanes
- Monitor trade lane performance, prepare monthly reviews and action plans
Business Development & Client Engagement
- Independently source, develop, and convert high-value opportunities
- Offer tailored solutions with pricing strategies aligned to cost structures
- Champion Consol and Aratrans services in client discussions and proposals
Regional Mobility & Market Coverage
- Travel extensively across GCC markets (KSA, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar) for sales leadership
- Maintain direct client contact through scheduled regional visits and touchpoints
🔹 Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in B2B sales leadership roles within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain
- Proven success in developing and executing regional sales strategies across the GCC
- Strong familiarity with GCC market dynamics and ability to engage Arab National stakeholders
- Prior leadership of multi-country sales teams with a track record of high performance
- Deep understanding of trade lanes and commercial pricing in logistics
- Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written)
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and financial insight
