They are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the sales and commercial performance of oil and gas products portfolio. This role plays a critical part in shaping pricing strategies, expanding market presence, and strengthening client relationships across the region. The position offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders, international suppliers, and evolving market dynamics, making it ideal for a commercially astute professional looking to influence business growth at scale.

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve sales targets and optimise margins across oil and gas product portfolio
  • Monitor pricing compliance and profitability to maximise commercial performance
  • Identify and secure new clients, distributors, and regional market opportunities

Strategic Account Management

  • Develop and execute account plans for key customers and strategic partners
  • Strengthen long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and retention
  • Analyse customer needs and align product offerings to market demand

Commercial Strategy & Pricing

  • Develop competitive pricing strategies aligned with market and cost structures
  • Prepare commercial proposals, bids, and tender submissions
  • Track competitor activity and market trends to inform pricing decisions

Operational Excellence & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to commercial contracts, policies, and industry regulations
  • Monitor product performance, sales trends, and operational efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes and pricing models

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing commercial team
  • Conduct performance reviews and implement capability development initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including international suppliers

Reporting & Insights

  • Prepare and present regular commercial performance reports to senior management
  • Provide insights on sales performance, margins, and market intelligence
  • Support strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis

🔹 Qualifications & Experience

  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in oil and gas commercial or sales roles
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing product portfolios
  • Strong experience in pricing strategy, tendering, and contract management
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing commercial teams
  • Exposure to international suppliers and cross-border commercial operations
  • Solid understanding of oil and gas market dynamics and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market and financial data
  • Proficiency in English; additional regional language skills are advantageous
